Practice your reading with Jack, our tail wagging tutor! Jack is a certified therapy dog who will be here every Wednesday morning July 5 - August 30 from 10:30 -11:30 AM for 1-5 graders to read to him.

Join Mrs. Ferris in this weekly series featuring stories, fingerplays, and fun on the flannel board chosen especially for 3-5 year-olds! The series runs on Thursday mornings at 10:30 AM June 29 through August 17. Registration is requested.

Come and play with your child at our fun sensory stations! Sensory play is any activity that stimulates a child's senses: touch, smell, taste, sight and hearing.

Let's dance!!! We'll start with a fun story and then dance and move to our favorite songs. To add to the fun, we'll bring out shaker egg, scarves, our bubble machine before winding down with some parachute play.

Bring your lunch to munch on while you enjoy a movie on the library's big screen!  A mischievous dog befriends a lonely young girl in a new town and helps her make new friends.

Come for a great story and make a craft to go with it! Our "Monday is Funday" program is for kids going into grades 1-3. We'll have 7 weekly sessions - come for one or all of them. Drop-in program.

Grades 6-12: Join us and watch anime while making diamond art stickers of your favorite characters!

Grades 6-12: Interested in learning how to code? Love coding already and want to grow your knowledge? Join Wood Library's summer session of Girls Who Code club! Anyone grades 7-12 is welcome to sign up.

The New Yorker discussion group will meet Thursday from 3:30 – 4:30 pm. The “required readings” are chosen by group members weekly.

Christmas is just 5 months away so let's get ready for the holiday by learning to make, bake, decorate and eat cutout cookies. Registration is required as our program has only 15 slots for bakers! 

Craft your own greeting cards with instructor Sally. The cost is $15 per person and includes everything you need to make four cards with envelopes. Space is limited; please register. Payment due at time of class
