We are SO excited to offer this six-week art series, Design and Drawing for the Young Artist! Our instructor, Pam Viggiani, will teach the 3-5th grade participants to broaden their design and drawing skills and their creative ability with a variety of media, techniques, and compositional devices. The class will help build the fundamentals of artistic expression through development of individual skills by observation and imagination. Participants will learn how to define perspective using different materials, color, size, and placement of objects as they create two projects.
Registration is open and required for participation. Each weekly class will build on the techniques introduced the previous week so it is important to attend each session. There is a $10 class fee for the series payable by the first class. The series is made possible by a grant from Statewide Community Regrant program (formerly known as The Decentralization Grant program) developed by the New York State Council On the Arts (NYSCA).
