DESCRIPTION:The American Red Cross (ARC) Babysitter Training is designed f
 or 11 to 15-year-olds who are interested in becoming certified as an Ameri
 can Red Cross Babysitter. The training provides youth who are planning to 
 babysit become equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely 
 and responsibly give care for children and infants. The ARC Babysitter Tra
 ining will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to de
 velop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help chi
 ldren behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. Learn

 cy and how to stay safeChoosing activities that are age-appropriateRecogni
 zing, understanding and handling certain behaviorsStarting your babysittin
 g businessAn American Red Cross certificate/card will be issued to each st
