Join us for short stories, rhymes, and fingerplay fun with Children’s Librarian, Mrs. Ferris, and her puppet helper, Shrinking Violet, in this series for 2 year-olds and their parent or caregiver.

Practice your reading with Jack, our tail wagging tutor! Jack is a certified therapy dog who will be here every Wednesday morning July 5 - August 30 from 10:30 -11:30 AM for 1-5 graders to read to him.

Join Mrs. Ferris in this weekly series featuring stories, fingerplays, and fun on the flannel board chosen especially for 3-5 year-olds! The series runs on Thursday mornings at 10:30 AM June 29 through August 17. Registration is requested.

 A free, lively 30 minute musical show for the whole family, with delightful performances by musical artists of the ChamberFest Canandaigua, spear-headed by co-artist director cellist Amy Barston and featuring Barston along with musicians Kev

Bristol artist Nancy Lane shows her original oil paintings from her latest picture book “A Warbler’s Journey” plus other recent plein air work portraying the natural beauty of the Finger Lakes, Adirondacks, and Hudson Valley.

Discuss nutritional considerations of various chronic conditions and how to overcome common barriers to eating healthy and physical activity.

Come for a great story and make a craft to go with it! Our "Monday is Funday" program is for kids going into grades 1-3. We'll have 7 weekly sessions - come for one or all of them. Drop-in program.

Love Legos? Then join us and let your imagination run wild! Create a model using our Legos and put it on display in the Children’s Room. Registration is requested. For kids going into grades 1-6.

Bring your devices and your questions! First come, first served! Ask for the location at circulation.

The New Yorker discussion group will meet Thursday from 3:30 – 4:30 pm. The “required readings” are chosen by group members weekly.

Come learn to line dance and see what all the fun is about! Start learning the basics or pick up something new.

Adults 18+ Interested in trying snacks from other countries?

B-4 you plan all your summer activities, be sure to mark your calendar for some family fun at the library!  There will be some fabulous prizes! Space is limited. Registration is required. Please register each person in your family/group.

Grades 6-12: Join Amanda Mann from Flour City Custom Cookies to learn different decorating techniques and learn how to decorate a summer-themed cookie! Registration required.

Grades 6-12: Read and discuss The Merciful Crow by Margaret Owen! Registration requested.

Learn and play Role play games (RPG) games for two weeks.
