Our "Walkers" early literacy program features nursery rhymes, songs, movement activities, and a story for children up to 24 months old who are walking and parent or caregiver. The will be an Open Play time after the 20 minute program.

This beginner class will go over the basics of the Ancestry home edition. Learn how to conduct a basic search and use other helpful search tools to find relatives. Bring your own basic search questions.  

Our "Pre-Walkers" early literacy program features nursery rhymes, songs, lap activities, and a story for children up to 24 months old who are not yet walking and parent or caregiver. The 20 minute class will be followed with an open playtime.

Grades 9-College: Work with Canandaigua Academy teacher, Mike Sisson, to improve your creative writing and come up with a story in this three day workshop!

Grades 9-12: Plan library programs and be an advocate for Wood Library. New members welcome!

Create your own mural panel for  display with instruction by Rochester, NY based artist Sarah C Rutherford. 

Bring a cellphone and record videos at the library after hours! First, we’ll plan, then we’ll record at 6 once the library closes.
