The Wonders of Writing: Into the publishing world

Join us to hear from and support local authors!

Do you enjoy writing and want to share your writing with others?  Want to connect with and support local authors?  Have you ever considered publishing a short story, novel, or memoir but are not sure how to start?

Wood Library, FLARE, and Canandaigua Writers Group invite you to join local authors and publishing resources for an evening of connection, sharing, and support.

From submitting to journals, starting a blog, opting to self-publish, or taking a more traditional route to publication, the possibilities can be overwhelming to new authors.

We invite you to join published local authors to learn about these options, and how they have successfully navigated the contemporary publishing market so that you can make your publishing dreams a reality.

The event starts and finishes with time to mingle and support local authors in a variety of genres at a book signing fair.

A panel discussion, moderated by Brooke Baker, owner and editor at Story House Editing and member of the FLARE executive committee, will begin at 6:30 pm.  Support local authors by purchasing their books at a book signing at the start and end of the event!

No pre-registration is required.  Grab a friend and join us!
