Join us for the first in our Hobart William and Smith speaker Series featuring Professor of Biology Kristy Kenyon and Professor of Sociology Renee Monson as they discuss "Womb for Rent: The Intersection of Biology and Sociology in Reproductive Medicine".

In this talk, we discuss the policy debates around surrogacy and other technologies of human reproduction.  We will draw on our experiences with co-teaching our course “The Politics of Reproduction”, which we have offered four times since 2014.  The course integrates theoretical frameworks and empirical research from the disciplines of biology and sociology.
