Join Akwaaba: The Heritage Associates, a Rochester based group of storytellers and reenactors as they provide a dramatic reenactment of the civil rights activist and founder Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party using original footage of her life and speeches with reenactor, Shirley Strothers. This event is sponsored by 1816 Farmington Quaker Meetinghouse, and made possible with  grant from Humanities NY.
