You can never be too prepared for a natural disaster. The Department of Preventive Services will present information on responding to various types of disasters that can happen in New York. Create effective family emergency plans, stock up on essential supplies, prepare a go-kit for rapid evacuation, respond to active assailant situations, and register for NY Alert to stay informed before, during, and after emergencies.
