Program Description

Event Details

June is officially designated as National Pollinator Month.

It’s a time to raise awareness about the vital role pollinators play in ecosystems and food production, and to encourage actions to support them.

Join Cornell Cooperative Extension Ontario County Master Gardener Volunteers as they lead a workshop to build a container garden filled with pollinator-friendly plants. You will choose from a selection of annuals, perennials, and herbs of different heights and habits so that the flowers bloom will extend throughout the season.

Photography and videography may be taken at library programs and events.  If you do NOT want your photo or video taken, please inform the librarian.

Wood Library is committed to creating inclusive and accessible events. To request a reasonable accommodation or discuss your needs, please contact me at alawrence@owwl.org or call the library at 585-394-1381. Please submit requests at least three business days in advance of events.
