Adult Crafting: Making your own Salve

Join us and learn how to turn herbs growing in your backyard (or nearby) into a useful at home remedy! In this class we'll discuss methods of harvesting, drying, and preparing herbs for infusing into oil. You'll then see a demonstration on how exactly to turn herbal oils into salves! You will get to take home your own completed salve as well an oil infusion (that you'll prepare!) that you can turn into a salve at home.

The cost is $15 per person and includes everything you need to make completed salve, DIY booklet, and beeswax to take home. Space is limited; please register. Payment due prior to class.

About the teacher:
Samantha Lynn has been studying herbalism for last three years and crafting for two. She is the creator of Wholistic Herbals, a business that craft products people use in their day to day lives and uses whole and locally sources ingredients whenever possible. Her hope is to show people that plants are powerful and that they provide a natural and effective alternative to unnecessary additives. A huge goal of Samantha's is to spread herbal wisdom wherever she goes.
